I really like Gelotti, and the sorbets are absolutely amazing! They’re definitely the highlight for me and worth coming back for. That said, I do agree with the comment below about the parking lot needing more seating. A few simple benches or picnic tables, something that could easily be sourced from Facebook Marketplace, would make a big difference. People clearly want to sit outside and enjoy their treats, but there isn’t enough seating, so you often see folks sitting in the trunks of their cars. I personally wouldn’t recommend the ice creams or soft serve. They’re okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement in execution and prep. The Oreo topping didn’t seem to be actual Oreos; it tasted like store brand chocolate cookies, and unfortunately they were stale. The large peanut and chocolate crunchies coated sugar cone was also stale. With the soft serve, you can noticeably taste the soft serve mix, which takes away from the experience. Even little details could help elevate the visit. The door handle, for example, was covered in fingerprints. Totally understandable given the high traffic, but it’s one of those small things that can be easily addressed and makes a differenc

The ice cream here is really good, and the shop itself is huge! However, I was super disappointed that there’s absolutely no indoor seating. Having to sit on the sidewalk outside to eat your ice cream isn't ideal. I really hope they use some of that massive extra space to add a sitting area inside soon

Gelotti in Paterson is simply amazing. The flavors are delicious, rich, and incredibly creamy, with a huge variety to choose from. Everything tastes fresh and high quality, from the gelato to the Italian ice. The place has a great vibe and the service is quick even when it’s busy. Definitely one of the best ice cream spots in New Jersey. Highly recommend if you’re looking for unique and delicious flavors. 🍦⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A local ice cream spot loved by residents!!! During the summers, you can see people lined up to the door and parking lot at capacity. Their ice cream is always smooth and creamy; it satisfies all the tastebuds. Definitely a MUST if you’re in Paterson. The Cookie Monster ice cream is always my go-to (pictured left); I ordered the Junior size which is just enough to satisfy my sweet tooth. 10/10! The coconut ice dream (right) is so refreshing and tastes so fresh! A solid ice cream if you love tropical flavors. 9/10

Came here for ice cream. The store was super clean and the staff was wonderful! They had so many different flavors! I decided to go with the vanilla raspberry chip gelato and the vanilla peanut butter ice cream. The gelato was so creamy and the raspberries were very fresh, vanilla peanut butter was also delicious but not as creamy as the gelato. We also got rum raisin, coconut, tiramisu, and strawberry. The strawberry was very fresh and sweet. The tiramisu had a very light coffee taste, but it was delicious as I’m not a fan of coffee.would definitely recommend coming here!
